For Parallelo, the building in Milan designed by architect Mario Cucinella, the integrated solar screen systems in ScreenLine® glazing were chosen.

ScreenLine® is the solar screen (Venetian blind, pleated blind or roller blind) integrated into the insulating glass that allows you to perfectly control light and solar heat, reducing unwanted solar inputs, thus optimising thermal and visual comfort, reducing the costs of cooling, heating and lighting and, consequently, CO2 emissions.

Finglas slats have a thin and elegant style, which can be used closed for perfect shielding from light and heat and tilted at 45 degrees to diffuse and amplify outdoor natural light indoors.

Privacy is ensured with closed slats, and the facade of the houses seen from the outside retains the brilliance and depth dimension of glass.

Modular shielding is the real technical solution of the building, home to the Unicredit Management Offices. Privacy and transparency, light and shadow, solar heat and shielding find the perfect combination here.

A cultural and architectural restoration that has enhanced the historical role, preserving its outer envelope. The interior, on the other hand, is dominated by the alternation of glass and natural light.
